2025 Village Clean-Up Days: A Community Effort to Keep Our Village Sparkling
Mark your calendars, Village residents! The 2025 Village Clean-Up Days are just around the corner, providing the perfect opportunity to declutter your home and contribute to a cleaner, more vibrant community. This annual event is exclusively for Village residents!
Event Details
The clean-up will take place over two days at the vacant lot across from the Village Garage. The schedule is as follows:
Friday, May 2, 2025: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday, May 3, 2025: 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM (sharp)
Be sure to arrive within these hours, as late drop-offs will not be accepted. This is your chance to dispose of unwanted items responsibly and help keep our Village beautiful!
What Can You Bring?
Residents are encouraged to bring the following items for disposal:
All metal items, including large appliances like refrigerators and freezers. Please note: Collecting metal items on your property is prohibited, so take advantage of this opportunity to clear them out.
Furniture, such as old couches, chairs, or tables.
Household items that are no longer needed.
Burn barrels that have reached the end of their use.
This is a great time to clear out those bulky or heavy items that have been taking up space in your home or yard!
Items Not Accepted
To ensure a smooth and safe clean-up process, certain items cannot be accepted. Please do not bring:
Used oil
Paints
Tires
Household garbage
Chicken waste
If you’re unsure about an item, contact the Village office ahead of time to confirm whether it can be accepted.
