The Village of Woodland is proud to honor Betty Carpenter as the Grand Marshal of the 2026 Woodland Homecoming Celebration.
The Grand Marshal is an individual (or couple) recognized for outstanding service to Woodland. As a featured guest of the Homecoming Celebration, the Grand Marshal embodies the spirit, history, and pride of our community.
Betty is a lifelong resident of Woodland who has dedicated more than 40 years of service on the Village Council. She currently serves as President of the Woodland Eagles Auxiliary and has worked tirelessly to make Woodland a better place to live.
Known for her kind heart, wonderful spirit, sharp wit, and warm presence, Betty has been a steady and positive force in our village for decades.We are proud to honor her as one of our own.
