The Village of Woodland would like to inform residents that Woodland Park will be closing for the winter season starting of November.The park will reopen in the spring, with the exact date to be announced closer to that time. The Village of Woodland will conduct its annual leaf cleanup on the following dates: October 31, November 7, November 14, and November 21. Residents are asked to place their leaf piles at the curb before each scheduled pickup date.
Woodland’s homecoming takes place each year during Labor Day weekend in the village park. The event features a variety of family-friendly activities, including fun events for kids, a parade, and the highly anticipated annual softball tournament. It’s a community gathering that brings everyone together to celebrate and enjoy the end of summer.
