Accessibility Statement

The Village of Woodland wants everyone in our community to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

  • Use a large, easy-to-read typeface and strong color contrast.
  • Use large buttons that are easy to tap on a phone.
  • Add text descriptions to photos for people using screen readers.
  • Keep pages simple, with clear headings.

Known limitations

Some older documents, such as scanned meeting minutes and ordinances, are PDF images and may not work well with screen readers. If you need any document in another format, we’re glad to provide it.
