This policy explains what information the Village of Woodland, Michigan collects through villageofwoodlandmi.gov and how it is used.

Information you give us

When you use the Report a Problem form, we receive what you type: the type of problem, its location, your description, and, if you choose to provide them, your name, phone number and email address. Reports are emailed to Village Hall and used only to look into and respond to the problem you reported.

Messages and reports sent to the Village may be public records under the Michigan Freedom of Information Act.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site uses basic analytics (Google Analytics) and our web host’s security and performance tools to count visits and keep the site running. These tools may use cookies and record general information such as your browser type, the pages you visit and your approximate location. We use this only to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

What we don’t do

The Village does not sell or rent your information, and does not use it for advertising.
